“I led him to the bride” - father of “martyred” pro-Palestinian protester who died in an accident

Father of Fares Khaled: "Praise Allah, He will place him in Paradise… He will be an advocate for everyone… [Allah] will grant victory to our brothers the Palestinians... Now I led him to the bride, I did not bury him. These are tears of joy, praise Allah, all the people are happy for him... He had a goal and he reached it, praise Allah."

A Martyr's funeral is considered his wedding to the 72 Virgins in Paradise in Islam.

Fares Khaled slipped and fell to his death after he climbed onto the roof of an educational institution in Tunisia's Manouba province to wave a Palestinian flag at a pro-Palestine demonstration.
